Happy 100th Birthday The Gift of 100 Years Most people that come to this web site know us and our family. For those of you that don't I will share that Marlene's mother has lived with us 20 years. She came from a small farm in Maynard, MN and has had a wonderful life as a missionary, wife, piano teacher and many years as a Grandmother and Great Grandmother. We recently celebrated her 100th birthday January 26, 2008.
Our program had lots of food, music and 130 guests at Augustana Regent Care Suits in Burnsville, MN Louie Brown and Arlene Borner co-emceed the event.
Brady Borner played and sang a song. Rayleen Hansen sand a Sandy Patty song with Marlene behind the piano. Rayleen is Southview School teacher.
Ruth Knutson along with a good group of relatives came all the way from Colorado to attend. Ruth has a doctorate in Missionology and works with The Navigators International. Mary White was along, she and her husband Dr. Jerry White still travel all over the globe for them. Orville and Betty Wetzel added their music and made the event complete. Betty's mom lives at the Regent too.
We had a great time. Family, friends, music and food all with a focus on God's never ending love. "The Gift of 100 Years" was the theme. We have a CD photo program you may have. Email us from this website and I will send you one. We have a limited supply of "free" copies so ask quickly for yours.
